[MAC] sims 3 starter has an Unknown error occurred

I bought The sims 3 starter on origin. I installed it and I keep getting unknown error occured. I would like to try to solve this problem so I could play this game. If I cant solve it then I am going...

I did that and I can play the sims 3 game with out the packs that came with the game. just once i try to download the packs that warning comes up. what can i do
