(MAC) Sims Supernatural

Purchased Supernatural for my daughter and already have the Base Sims, Pets and Island Paradise expansion packs (all on disc); all work fine. I have a recent Mac Book Pro. Loaded Supernatural, clicked the icon to open the game but it keeps opening Island Paradise, then asking for the Island Paradise disc to be inserted. Have re-started computer, uninstalled and re-installed and still no joy. I'm scratching my head now. Any clues?

You do need the IP disc to run the game because it's the most recently released game that you own. As I'm sure you know already, all the games work together - so even though you're using the IP disc, Supernatural will still be there and all.

Hope that makes sense
