Hi I tried to open my new the sims 3 game, I´ve installed it and everything seemed to be ok until I tried to run it for the first time. It seems to be an unknown error and it won´t open at all....

Is it just the base game that you are trying to install or expansion packs as well? I assume you are using Origin? Is the game patched up to date? How much RAM does your Macbook have?
