Any error message received: "Disc Authentication Failure No game disc found! Please insert The Sims 3 game disc before proceeding."
A detailed description of what is occurring: I just purchased The Sims 3 Starter Pack earlier this morning. My computer doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so I have an external Targus DVD-ROM drive. I installed The Sims 3 without launching it or anything. Next I installed The Sims 3: Late Night I got some message saying that since The Sims 3 is fairly new I would have some problem or something I ignored it. I continued to install the last game The Sims 3: High-End Loft.. I was ready to play and kept high end loft in, but then I got a message that said insert late night. I did and got the disc authentication failure message.
A detailed description of any troubleshooting you have already attempted: I uninstalled High-End Loft and Late Night.. I deleted the DDCACHE and Downloads folders and restart my Mac numerous times.. I've tried to update the game, but it just randomly stops with like 20% / 100%..
