Macbook Pro sims 3
For the love of jesus someone help me. Been working and watching YouTube videos for hours and found nothing to help. I've just started refurbishment on a (late 2008 macbook pro) It's on os x el ca...
@HerrxWolf Okay, the fact that you don't have a deviceconfig.log yet means the game isn't getting far enough to generate one. Please try running Sims 3 with nothing else open on your computer, not even Origin. Restart your computer, open Applications, then the Sims 3 folder, and launch the game by double-clicking on the green plumbob icon inside. If it doesn't work, restart, disable your laptop's wifi so there's no internet connection at all, and try again.
If you do get any errors, please take screenshots of the error message pop-ups themselves. The crash report isn't all that useful—all I can see from your second screenshot is that Cider crashed, which I figured would be the case.
Please also show me what's inside the Sims 3 folder in Applications. And I'd like to check to see whether your graphics card is in the game's database. It's easiest to search by device ID; each model of card has a different one. Click the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen and select About This Mac, then System Report. Under Hardware, select Graphics/Displays, and copy the information listed or take a screenshot. If you have two cards, please provide the info for each one.
I've reset my laptop and am reinstalling both games now I'll be back with a update when done
