Macbook Pro sims 3
For the love of jesus someone help me. Been working and watching YouTube videos for hours and found nothing to help. I've just started refurbishment on a (late 2008 macbook pro) It's on os x el ca...
Sorry for the spam again, this is the screenshot when wifi is turned off and this I'd my graphics
@HerrxWolf Okay, so it looks like you only installed the base game, not Late Night or High-End Loft Stuff. The easiest approach is probably to install both, which will bypass the license server error. Open your Origin library, click on the Sims 3 icon, select More > Expansion Packs (for LN) or Stuff Packs (for HELS), scroll to where the pack is listed, and click Download.
Once the two packs are installed, you'll need to create an alias (icon) for LN in Applications\The Sims 3, next to the alias for the base game. This is simple:

Your graphics card is in fact in the Sims 3 database—thanks for that info screenshot—so you won't have to add it manually. (I thought it would be, but it's easier to just check.) So you shouldn't have any other errors. The other useful step is to run the Super Patch (digital download version), rather than letting the launcher do a shoddy job of patching on its own.

So I installed the patch note, and it came up with the sims 3 quit unexpectedly
I also got refunded and I brought back the sims 3 but with no dlc, as I read that could be a cause. I unstalled sims and reinstalled the one without dlc and its came up with the attachment after I applied the patch
@HerrxWolf Packs can cause a couple of issues, but not the issues you've been having. And they certainly don't cause issues if they're not installed, which yours weren't.
Again, I can't do anything with the screenshot you provided. I need to see the error you saw before you clicked "Report," as in, the little pop-up that tells you that the game quit or whatever. And I need to know when in the process of trying to play you saw that message, as well as whether running the Super Patch actually worked.
I didn't receive a message but for some reason my sims 3 was downloaded in the documents folder, the super patch didn't work and I didn't get a error message
Thanks look forward to hearing from you
