making a backup of a saved games

I was trying to make a backup of my saved games as shown here: help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-backup-my-saved-games-in-the-sims-3/ but when i went to play my game all of my saved games had disappeared and I have no idea how to get them back

Did you move them or copy ? Do they still show up on your saves folder ?

No, they don't show up, I think I moved them instead of copied them. Silly me

Then just copy them back and they should reappear.

Did you rename them in any way ? Could you post a picture of your saves folder content ? Upload to some picture sharing site and link here.
