"missing texture" when using sketch book

When my Sims tries to use her sketch book she doesn't actually draw a picture she just draws the words 'missing texture'. Its not really a big deal, I just like to decorate with the pictures my Sims draw and paint.

    i have this problem aswell, its not a big deal but i'd still like to see what my sim is drawing, is there a patch or something that can fix it?

    Hello,

    I had this problem too so I contacted a EA Advisor and I got a really helpful and friendly one who told me to go to my documents, then to the Electronic Arts folder and then The Sims 3 folder and to cut and paste this folder onto my desktop and this solved the problem for me 🙂 Please feel free to pass this on and tell other fellow Sims player 😉 Hope it helps you too! 🙂

    I tried that but as soon as I go into the game to see if it worked, it doesn't. But then when I check my Sims 3 file, they just reappear!

    Any help? ☹️
