my cousin had gave me sims 3 expansion pack and it doesnt have manual

my cousin has gave me the sims 3 and now i have found out that you need a serial code and its on the manual and i open the box and the manual isnt inside how do i get a serial code this is my first time having the sims 3 game hope i get some help thanks

if the game was bought 2nd hand/used or passed on to someone else if that person registered the game to their account the code/s will be tied to the original persons account and are non transferable nor can they be re-registered to another account
