My Normal Sim has Mermaid needs

My female sim meet her man and they soon got married, however i realised he was a mermaid which i did not want whilst playing in Appaloosa Plains so i avoided salt water to make him change back to normal but he froze in action whilst changing, i reset him and he turned invisable so i quickly fixed it by going to plan outfit. but now theres another problem! he still has the mermaid needs of hydration and the food bar doesnt fill as quickly with nirmal food than it does with fish and kelp also he still gets mermaid wishes such as " meet another mermaid" or " eat kelp" i dont no what to do anymore! i searched but couldnt find anything i think this is a first!
