Hey Guys,
so I'm a more competetive Gamer with shooters etc. and got myself one of the better Pc's with a Zotac 4070 ti and an 13th gen cpu (i9 - 13900k Intel) and can't play the sims 3 anymore.
I already tried reducin the cores of my cpu but it only works until i want to move into a house. It's just crashes then. Is there a way to fix it or is it a programming thing?

@help28 If you're not already aware, you can (and definitely should) lift the one CPU core restriction as soon as the game starts to load, or at the Main Menu if you prefer. Sims 3 will run better with full access to the CPU even if it doesn't need nearly that much power. You could also try the Alder Lake patch from Lazy Duchess, which imposes a temporary one-core limit at each launch that lifts on its own, without any need for further user intervention.
Have you added any mods or custom content to the game, and if so, does it still crash without mods or cc? What world are you playing in, and do you get a crash if you play in Sunset Valley?
Finally, have you taken steps to manually limit your in-game framerates? Your GPU is fast enough to hit fps well into the hundreds or even higher if left to its own devices, and that might cause crashes even in the absence of any other issues. Let me know if you need help with this process. If you've already imposed an fps limit, double-check that it's being respected, with the cheat fps on . The counter will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen.
