I see a couple of things. First you have 6 gb of memory with a 32 bit operating system which can only address 4 gb of it. This may be causing a problem with the motherboard memory manager.  This is an unusual motherboard in that it uses an Intel processor with a Nvidia chipset. The motherboard must be oem (made for Gateway) because I can't find much data on it. The motherboard has several features that make it old. First Nvidia is no longer making chipsets. Next it requires DDR2 memory which is no longer the preferred memory as DDR3 is faster. The cpu socket , lga775 (socket T) is no longer supported since Intel moved to the I series. Dxdiag looks good. Motherboard needs to be checked to see if it is failing. Shutting down under load is the first sign of failing. I have seen several Gateway desktops with this problem. If the motherboard checks out next would be overheating. Most Gateways have a fan that vents cpu heat and you need to add a case fan for the video card and other components. If that checks out then you probably have a failing component that will fail when worked hard. Right now I have an AMD computer on the work bench that every couple of days it will just shut off. I'm down to the motherboard and cpu - everything else has been changed. I recommend not investing a lot of money in the computer as you will never get it back as after upgrading you will still have an out dated computer. The Nvidia 640 is slighlt unnderpowered for TS3. If your 640 has DDR5 memory it just may play all packs but the DDR3 version seems to have a harder time. I know this is long winded but there isn't a simple answer. You will need to check all the above and rule out possibilities.
