My Sim is stuck at University.

My Sim has received her diploma and got her new academic trait but as soon as that happened, it was going to take her to the sorority house. It dropped her off in the middle of nowhere! And when I click on the map view and click on the sorority house, it says ring bell..She also is unable to go to back to her actual home with the rest of my Sim family. This didn't happen with her parents.  After I tried the "Drop Out of University" option on the smartphone many times, she has gone to graduation again and again, every day after classes at 1:00 PM. Help? I just want my Sim family back!

    Click edit town, then at the top click rerun game setup (don't worry you won't lose anything) move the household back into the same one they were in (you won't be controlling the entire household, just your sim(s) that you had before) and then do the 'drop out of university' thing again, it should work! Hope this worked! It worked for me!! BUT!!!!!! When you get back home..you will be controlling your entire household...but all you have to do is click edit town and split the household! ...yea...
