My Sims 3 launcher won't let me update what do I do.

I'm trying to get the university life expansion pack to install, but every time I try it says that I need to update, even thought my launcher says I'm up to date. I am currently on version 16.0.136.0...

Its not that it says i can't connect to origin even though im loged in.

But your game is not up-to-date (no matter was the launcher says). So install the patch and the message might go away.
