My Sims 3 store bought content will not download

My computer does not respond when I click the download button. I tried taking the disc out, which didn't work but when I install in the game it is fine!! But I cannot find the stuff i bought in the g...

    Are you trying to download the content from the ingame store or through a browser ? If it's the latter, what browser are you using ? Did you try a different one ?

I'm afraid I don't really have a proper answer but I have had quite a few problems with my sims 3 disk, however after I turned off and on my  laptop it worked as normal, maybe you should try that.
