Are you updated to 1.67? Check by looking in the left hand corner of the launcher, it should say 1.67 - if it doesn't, please download the super patch from here and install it: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858
