My sims are in romantic interest and still can't propose or get married

found this in the wrong section and moved here but I'm unsure which Sims version this is about

Sims 3 or 4 ?

Was either in a relationship before ?

No @crinrict

Then try to only use interactions from the romantic menu until it shows up.

If you use any from any other menu, it will break the romantic menu to be reset.
