My sim's best friend is a car.
What?? I was playing a household with a lone sim. I switched to another household for awhile. When I returned to the original house, my sim had a car listed in the relationships tab. It showed a "Margaret Vaguester" and said "Best Friends Forever." The car was also in my sim's personal inventory. There was no parking space on the lot so I bought one and put the car on it. It is still in the relationships tab. So I have two questions about this:
A) How might the car have gotten there?
and
B) Why is my sim's best friend a car?
Is there some explanation I'm unaware of? Or is this some sort of glitch in the game?
That is a so called feature. It came with the fast lane patch even if you don't have fast lane itself.
The more you drive around in your car, the better the relationship you have to it. If you have the trait vehicle enthusiast, it gets there even faster.
...... sometimes I question the sanity of the people that come up with this stuff.
