My sims wait hours before performing an action???

Hello. I hope i am at the right topic section to ask this question... 🙂 So my issue is that when i send a sim to shower, or summon the genie with a lamp, or sleep or even just change outfits, t...

@roberta591 My computer is a PC, and yes, i do have mods, but i tried removing them and it changed nothing.

EDIT: Emptying my cache solved the problem for the first 30 mins of playing, but now sims take their time again.

@night0ceans Do any of the mods pertain to the sims actions (like story progression)? Some mods change core game files and just removing the mod will not disable the mod. some mods get saved in the save file. What mods do you have? If you start a new game does the problem recur?

    Yes, i have tried many different households with different amounts of sims in different towns, didn't change anything.
