Need a hand with installation..

I installed The Sims 3 ( disk ) - ( no expansion packs ) a long time ago.. I want to play it again now but whenever i try install it says ; Error Code:-5006 : 0x80070020 it told me to delete the previous setup and so i did.. i tried again but error still existed i left no trace of Sims 3 ( deleted everything ) on my pc but error still exists I would really appreciate it if someone could help me!

    @Flemeth2002 This error could be an antivirus interfering Or a user date corruption or corrupt registry entries. What antivirus programs do you have running? Did you use a registry cleaner like ccleaner (there is a free version)?
