New laptop has 8GB Memory... is that enough to play Sims 3 with multiple expansion pack?

I just got a new laptop with 8GB Memory and 750 Hard Drive. The Hard drive I'm not worried about but I am worried abou the memory; is an 8GB Ram big enough to play Sims 3 with multiple expansion packs or no?

8 GB of RAM is enough. The game can't use more than max 4 GB so you're good.
The big question is your graphic card though. Do you have an acutal card or just a graphic chip in your computer ?
