Not all EP/SP installed showing up in game
Since the new EA App forced takeover, I'm having trouble getting my game to load everything that is installed. I've followed the workaround I found in my searching (I don't remember the exact post) and it worked.... for a while. Now I'm just wasting literal hours loading and reloading my game to try and get it to load like it had been initially.
Steps followed were:
Run App Recovery to clear the cache.
After the app restarts, Manage game to repair the install.
Everything it in the download manager that needs to be, time to launch. The launcher comes up no problem. Check to see all EP and SP are checked off and load the game.
After everything is loaded, my game comes up with "Some objects could not be loaded and were replaced."
That was happening occasionally after the new EA App was installed, but I usually could get it to load... eventually. Now it's doing it consistently.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything several times, and restarted my computer twice as much. I've uninstalled the EA App and reinstalled Origin, which worked for a day before getting the pop up on Origin that forces you to update to the EA App.
Is there anything else I could possibly try?
@donutgrrl When packs don't load despite being checked off in the launcher, a common cause is stale data in Internet Explorer's cache, or now that IE is retired, Edge's IE mode data. So try clearing that (end of the article):
You'll need to check off all the packs again, but hopefully this time your settings will stick.
By the way, you can see which packs have loaded by going into Buy Mode and trying to sort by pack. The icon is all the way on the right, and any pack that's loaded will show up as an option.
