Opportunities that cannot be completed because targets are no longer available

Hi,  I have just downloaded the Monte Vista and every opportunity I accept it comes up in the mail that the targets are no longer available, why is this happening and what does it mean?

This message usually comes up if you have an opportunity for a Sim that no longer exists in your town.

Can you take note of the Sim/place you have the opportunity for and then make sure they really exist in your game ?

Thank you for this, I will take note next time it happens, since I posted this question I have had several opportunities that worked. But will definitely take note next time it happens and will let you know.  Thank you once again for replying to my post 🙂
