Optimal Resolution Notification

I recently changed computers and upon downloading Sims 3 on my new PC, I found that I cannot open the game.

Every time I try, it begins to load, then kicks me out with a pop-up about a non-optimal screen resolution(picture). This is quite frustrating and I don't know how to fix it. I tried to click on the little pop-up but it never works. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem
