    HiMysteryGamer2000

Have you tried repairing the game about the EA App? If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the game.

And - are the contents also displayed in the launcher under “installed content,” or have they disappeared there too?

    hello Dustlex

the weird thing is that is the second time this happens and i noticed that this only happens after a few days of gameplay ! the last time the thing i did was delete my whole sims 3 games folder except my saved games and mods ! yes they have dissapeared from the installed content too .

  • MysteryGamer2000  Try deleting SigsCache, in Documents > Electronic Arts > the Sims 3.

That said, part of the problem may be how many files you're trying to install at once.  The launcher doesn't handle large amounts of data very well, as in, the content can break.  And once it's broken, it's usually not possible to fix it other than by reinstalling that content.

So please install your Store content into a clean folder, as described here:

[Read First] Sims 3 Store guide | EA Forums - 11157679

Start with Best Practices in that post, then proceed to the next post for instructions on installing into a new folder and transferring your data.

It should also be noted that for worlds in particular, and sometimes for other items, you'll need to wait for the downloaded items' thumbnails to change from boxes to the correct images before installing that content.  Not waiting can corrupt the installed files.

Dustlex  Neither repairing nor reinstalling the game will fix Store content that's already broken.  It's stored in the user folder, which the EA App doesn't touch.
