@CosyCove Same, it just happened yesterday. I was playing it, decided I didn't want to use Re-shade anymore, accidentally deleted a file that wasn't supposed to be deleted, figured I'd just 'repair' the game and it would put the file back. The repair didn't work, so I decided to try un-installing the game and re-installing it. Went to re-install it and this happened. I've tried EVERYTHING. I've deleted every file containing or pertaining to Sims 3 except what was in the documents folder, which I renamed and moved to a different drive. I've restarted, cleared my Origin cache, un-installed and re-installed Origin FOUR TIMES with 2 different web browsers. I've cleared the history from BOTH browsers (Chrome and Edge). Every other game I have on Origin works fine, and I downloaded another game successfully from Origin. It's 100% Sims 3. I'm getting pissed because I have a feeling they want everyone buying/playing Sims 4 and are taking away Sims 3 to make that happen, which is * because I paid good money for Sims 3 and would like to continue playing it.
