Pc specs for the sims 3

    @AndresBe145  This should be great for Sims 3, so if you like it, go ahead and get it.  The 3050 ti is fast enough to run all packs together on ultra graphics settings other than the two (water and high-detail lots) that need to be turned down to lower the stress on the game engine.  The computer is well-built overall, with a chassis that can and does accommodate higher-end hardware, meaning more heat output.

    If you get this laptop, or something similar, I'd strongly suggest taking steps to limit the in-game framerates.  This will help with cooling—fewer frames means less work for the GPU and CPU, meaning less heat output—and also with long-term wear and tear.  This is an issue with any reasonably-modern gaming system, as Sims 3 itself has no way of limiting fps.  There's no point in going over the details until you have the laptop in front of you, but when you do, feel free to come back and ask for help with the process.
