There ARE no pets to buy in the store. The shop should contain a few minor pets (turtles and stuff) but you can't buy dogs and stuff there. It's mostly for pet supplies.
Do you have a cash register in the store ? If so, try replacing it with a new copy to trigger a cashier.
Ahh well that will be why then! Strang how it's not similar to pets on a console where you can actually go and buy/adopt a pet from a store, like the normal way to do it!
No, there is no cash register and got have the option to buy one either! its a pointless building to me!
Is the store completely empty ? Does sound a bit like the content didn't get installed properly.
