Problems downloading University Life

I've been trying to install "University Life" on my PC but it'll get close to finishing the download then a pop-up will come up saying this;   "File: E:\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild_p18.package Error: Incorect Function" 

 

I tried yesterday, same thing today.  I don't have anything else running while trying to download. I also opened the launcher and there was NO NEW UPDATES. I looked where the little icons are to see if it was downloaded and it says it was, so I tried playing the game and it wasn't. I have never had a problem with The Sims.

    You get the download version free with the disc version. I understand if you prefer the disc version (I do myself that's for sure) but if the DVD is damaged, it might be the easiest.

    When you right click on the disc and choose open, can you see the file for Sunset Valley ? Do you have troubles accessing any of the files that way ?

    Help. How do you download it from Origin. Im a noob and I have the same  problem.
