Problems with redeeming codes

I just recently bought Sims 3 Dragon Alley, but I can not install it. It's wanting me too install it logging into my account but I can not log into my account because it won't allow me to redeem a code for it. This is getting really irritating. I'm getting really sick of this origin bs and just the Sims 3 in general, I can't do anything and my money is pretty much wasted now. Thanks a bunch....
