problems with sims 3 - 70, 80 and 90's stuff

please can somebody help me.

I brought this game and i tried installing it and it says i need a copy of sims 3?

can someone help me????

    all expantion pacts and stuff packs need the base game to play. The 70's *0's and 90's is a sutff pack that you have to add to the sims 3 base game. If you do not have the base game installed the stuff pack will not work
