PS3 game install issue

When I try to install the sims 3 PS3 game it stops and freezes at 100%, I have searched all over the Internet and found no solution, I have found several other people having the same problem though. i have a super slim model PS3 that I recently got in July. My PS3 has enough storage to install it and I have a wired connection to my modem. I have tried deleting the game data and update multiple times and I have left it on 100% file progress and 100% total progress for hours to see if it would unfreeze and launch the game, to which it hasn't. I have no clue where to go from here. I would just like to play my game, if anyone has an answer to fix this issue I would love to hear it.
