Random problems after 1.42 update

Question

Problems:- I have the sims 3 and the EP pets and I recently bought the automatic petfeeder from the store but it doesn´t show up in the game itself. WHY!? I have updated everything possible in laucher, there are no more updates available, and I installed it but it still doesn´t show up in the game.- After the update 1.42 the pet feeding got REALLY EXPENSIVE, 200 simoleons!!! And while the pet food cost 200, the partnership of almost every building in any city is at 50 simoleons, that is awesully strange in my opinion. And after all the high prices and stuff the petfood runs out before the pets even are satisfied, they have to walk around hungry and unhappy while all my sims are at work, I lost my pets 3 times just because of this little&nbsp;problem!- I recently installed the town called Riverwiev to my game(from the store) and I had some trouble installing it but I made it work, but when I play in that town everything is in english(Im swedish so I play sims with swedish text) and when I play in Sunset Valley or Appaloosa Plains its all in swedish again.- My sims cant be in realtionships!!!!! They can wohoo and try for baby but they cant get together or marry each other.All these problems showed up after updating the game to update 1.42 and I do NOT like it! I´m really thinking about quitting because of it! And I know it doesn´t really matter if one person stop playing because there are so many others but still...Thanksul for any help I can get. (P.S. I play on a MACBook)

- Have you tried reinstalling it ? Store content does not install properly sometimes. Do you have lots of store content ?

- What steps did you take to make it work ?

- Don't have an answer to that. Long standing issue that many are having. It probably has something to do the relationships not being handled properly

- Yes Ive reinstalled several times but it still doesnt show up in the game and I dont have any other store content

- That forum page is not available for me.

- I just installed like 20 times then it showed up in the "start a new game" menu but its still in english and it bugs me.

- The relationships always worked before I updated.

You will need to change the forum to US - English and then click on community forums. When you are the us forum, try the link again.4. I don't have any real solutions for it. Sorry.

It didn´t work with the store items, I did just as it said in the reply, is it the same thing for mac, cause it didn´t work that much at allthe relationship things work now

Should be the same for mac.Just to make sure that you are installing right (not saying you aren't but I want to be extra sure):- You download the Pet Feeder from the Sims 3 Store.- It downloads fine and then shows up in your launcher in the download section- You click on the items so that there's a check mark next to it and hit install- It says it was installed successfully but when you start the game it's not in the Pets section of the buy/build mode
