@Hls2323 What resolution is your monitor, and are you setting the in-game resolution to match? If not, that's the first thing to try: change to fullscreen mode at the same time as you choose the new resolution.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also take a photo (not a screenshot; use your phone) of what you see on-screen when you choose the fullscreen option.

@puzzlezaddict Thank you, matching the resolution of the game and my monitor worked, I did literally everything but :/ ....Apologies for the late response, took a little break from the sims, I appreciate the help nonetheless!
