Re: Continuous Fires in Sims 3

@abbdy  If you use mods, specifically NRaas MasterController, click on the ground of the lot and select NRaas > MC > Reset Lot.

If you don't use mods, go to Edit Town, evict the sims, save the house to the in-game bin, bulldoze the lot, place a fresh copy of the house, and move in the sims.  As long as you don't save the sims themselves and replace them with a new copy, they'll keep their jobs and relationships, but they'll lose any promised wishes and opportunities.  You'll need to time this just right: after you've put out the fire but before a new one starts.

I downloaded the mod you suggested and opened the game.. then the fires stopped? Like I didn't even reset lot, I just downloaded it into the game and it stopped. Not sure what happened but it's gone so thank you. Also you replied sO fast, thank you!!

  • @abbdy  That's odd.  MasterController doesn't do anything unless you use it to issue a command, so it wouldn't have fixed the fire on its own.  Still, the important thing is no more fire.
