as far as i know no it wasn't  fixed so if want to go down the mod route you'll need to search for one OR what i did was had my guy in sunset valley skilled up got the ingredients made the simbot once i had the simbot made  i went to edit town saved the household to the library  started a new game in Bridgeport and moved them in to play there
