Re: [Current Issue] Sims 3 "serious error" when loading save

Hello, I've been having trouble with Sims 3. Can someone please help me?  My game will not allow me to launch saved games or worlds. It all comes up as a "serious error".  I'll get all the basics out of the way. My Wi-Fi is excellent, my laptop is brand new and up to date, and I don't have any mods or antivirus. I have also paused onedrive from syncing. I have also repaired, reinstalled, and uninstalled the game several times. I also cleared the cached data and renamed my sim's folder to something else and relaunched the game, which will only work until I save and try to replay the game at a later date. Any other tips please, would be really helpful. The EA help line sent me here due to my lack of knowledge of how to help.
