sorry for the late reply but i have a mac book pro 13-inch, Late 2011 using high sierra as my operating system i recently got sims 3 to download but i cant change the language from Portuguese to english i wasnt given an option to choose it from the beginning and i tried evrything i look up about changing it noting seems to work help

@Bluebellflora  i really want the sims 4 but if i get the 3 its alright. i downloaded the sims 3 but everything is in portugues and i have tried evrything to change the language nothing seemded to have worked 

also i am unable to download origin for my mac am not sure why 

@musicbaby21  How did you install Sims 3?  It's possible you have a language-locked version.  The Origin version should allow for all languages, but other sources may not.

i downloaded it via another source because of the restrictions here i told my bank are not dealing with credit cards renewals right now just  wanted to play a game i enjoyed but cant buy it right now from origin 

@musicbaby21  The only legitimate source of Sims 3 digital downloads in macOS is Origin.  It sounds like your copy of Sims 3 only comes in Portuguese.  Or maybe there's a way to change it.  But regardless, no one here is going to help with a cracked copy of the game.
