Re: EA App says games are uninstalled, Help service is no help

@dramaticgnomes  The next time you see the "you don't have access" error, try clearing the EA App's cache:

If the game shows as uninstalled and you're not seeing that error, try forcing the EA App to update.  Go here:

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

and launch the EAUpdater.exe.  This will force-update the App, if an update is pending, and hopefully allow your game library to load again.

If neither of these options works, the issue might be your antivirus, that is if you use a third-party program.  Try setting exceptions for EADesktop.exe and any games you have installed, for example that would be TS3.exe and Sims3Launcher.exe for Sims 3.
