Re: EA Spawned Taxi's

Sorry, Crazy Town morphed into Sims Asylum - changed post.

Sims Asylum? OK I will google it. Better yet I think I'm going to learn how to make mods myself. I like Nrass but modthesims has not been the same since Sims2 we had some awesome mods in Sims2 including endless awesome hair! Waiting now years but either the mods aren't made or they are not updated and don't work. I know it's very time consuming for the modders so maybe I should learn again. I tried to before but it was very complex. tyvm for responces and if you know how to remove the EA spawned zombies on the full moon plzzzzzz let me know. 

missyhissy has a mod at MTS 3 called Zombies Begone! The NRaas mods can also deal with them too but you need to tune the game with the Retuner mod. If you are going to get into modding, I really recommend talking to the folks at NRaas as they know a lot & can help muchly.

Hi Rumbutter! Can you plz tell me what to do to remove taxi's and zombies from my game in a legit non mod way? That would be soooo great! 

If EA doesn't support any type of mods then why does Sims4 come with a mod folder? Just curious. 

Tyvm fxchristensen your the only one with a solution so far.  This should be added as an in-game option. I notice we DO have an option to remove witches etc under options. Zombies are missing from those options unless you use the mailbox! And the mailbox doesn't work. They have Zombie EA spawning boxes all over the zone just as they have the roach boxes underground in Island Paradise now those I found and deleted 🙂 They were NOT good for the resort!

BUT for the zombies what happened is or should that be was anyways  if the game was saved on a full moon while the zombieswhere active that made the overrun by zombies issue  no real soloution t hough but to save your hood though (unless you resort to yoi know whats) you may need to start a new game (or a backup if you have one prior to saving on a full moon) copy your family to the library and put them in a new game

Any ideas as to why? I often think this game is created for modders because if you can't mod it's very hard or impossible to play. I'm probably dead wrong but the thought has crossed my mind especailly since a lot of kids who are not tech guru's play this game. I have had to hire programmers to come to my house, sit down and try to figure out past ......................... issues. But if you have a legit way to stop these zombies and taxi's I'd love to hear any suggestions out there that don't include mods Plzzzz! 

Start a new game? Ohhhh we have and 100's of times on three different computers too! Nothing removes the auto EA Zombies?? We have started many many many new games but still there are zombies? I can't find the boxes they left underground to delete them for some odd reason. 

Do the zombies auto spawn from a hidden box like the roaches in Island paradise under the resorts? Am I just missing the spawn box?? :0  I've looked underground, dug a lot to find nothing even with debugenabler true cheat.... no zombie box and the zombies that are spawning are all anon NPC's they do not live in the town!!? We put two gates up also. But nope still..... ZOMBIE ATTACK all night long on the full moon. And no matter what your doing they interrupt you and torment you all night. I have even deleted them as they were coming up from the ground but still.... they keep coming and spawning?

my assumption on a TS4 mod folders is that the powers that be know people like to customize their sims/lots etc and have intergrate dthat in to TS4 but again IF people us emods with the TS4 again it won't be endorsed or supported again i'm assuming here but i would hazard a guess that EA may unofficially supports the modding community they will not be held liable should any 3rd party content damage your PC or game. *side note to self must check that up for 100%accuracy *

i have the moon set to half moon and my alchemist makes a potion to whats the word hmmm replenish the  ah yes the bottle of potion is essence of magic which can be made at lvl 4??  alchemy skill which restores magical power

From the Sims Wikia:

During full moon, witches spend 50% less magic power and gain 25% more successful spell rate

I like you very much fxchristensen 🙂 OK So, all this time I have been digging, deleting and removing the ground for nothing  ☹️ /Cry  OK So, when you say my witches won't benefit does this mean they will just be gone?? :0 I'm reinstalling everything for Sims3 atm after banging my head on the comp after trying to play Sims4....... again ☹️  I gave up on alchemy because I got a sim up to level 10 without cheating and then BOOM! I logged in one day to find I could no longer make potions and couldn't figure out why. Everytime she went to make a potion she would just reset. That's another issue though. 

So, If I try deleting that file from the game my game is gonna go wacko or something? 

i don't thinkthere is a file for that as the sims that become zombies are the NPC's friends/neighbours  the ones we love and not love so much like madison , hank goddard , vita  alto et al

I have to try this now!!!! I can always uninstall and reinstall if anything goes wrong. I've done this now 1000 times I think. I really don't care if she has more or less power she only uses her spells for hunger, hygiene and apples so she won't starve to death while adventuring in tombs. And she won't need the daylight spell if there are no zombies! All the zombies do is run away and vanish anyways. They do not even live in the town. If they were not so annoying I wouldn't even care but wow I have had two gates and still all night long they spawn and try to attack you.

Hi 🙂 None of my family members or neighbors are zombies we personally zapped everyone. The zombies coming up from the ground do not live in the town. Vita Alto? She's dead, as always! She lasts for maybe one day of game play until I send her to the graveyard AND leave her urn in the cemetary vault where she can't do anymore harm. Which reminds me of another annoying issue... Why is the game auto tuning and adding the Evil trait to sims in my town? I remove the evil trait from one sim and boom someone else becomes evil who wasn't just out of the blue!?!? 

But ya the zombies that come out of the ground once they are zapped go to a vacant lot and poof vanish into thin air. They don't live in my town I know every single person who lives there.

mhmmm i know makes me want to run awwaaayyyyyyy tooo..actually i do have them in one game but the rest of my beloved and long running very much loved my first sims  very spoiled sims family is (NEVVVERRRRR EVVERRRR going to die) no zombie in their game

Once you get the zombie with that daylight spell follow them. They will run or take a taxi, junk car to a vacant lot and poof they are gone forever. I have followed them many times but also deleted them while they were coming up from the ground. And the fact that they can try to attack you and through TWO locked gates!???! It's just crazy.

No zombe in their game rumbutter? How did you remove them? Are you using a mod or can you hack the game?? What's your secret?? Yaaa I thought my family would live forever too but EA keeps killing them no matter how many death flowers or life fruit we have. We have to keep starting over again. I also noticed there has not been a patch for over a year now? Since 1.67? The rounting is still a Tragic mess in island Paradise. Do you have any idea when the next patch will be???

If it was a Tourist they would be from China, Egypt or France..... Now, in the past we have captured a few zombies and they were normal sims. If you click onto them and go into CAS or experiment on them you can tell.  I'm reinstalling now but in the past I have shut that option off to allow tourists. They aren't allowed because they teach me the wrong songs....☹️ The Tourists in Egypt were trying to teach me French songs!?!? :0
