you do need the bad CC how to remove those boots can be hard to find  if you download as sim pack file you need to find the one in the launcher uninstall from  there if they where installed that way if the CC which where may have came directly attached to a sim or lot make sure to check the installed content tab to uninstall any CC that shows up as installed then uninstall it and NOT the downloads

go through this thread everything you need to know is in there i at one time did get bad CC and it was a chore to find took me hours to find it but find it i did and got rid of

    I looked through the list again and found alot of CC that was bad in my laucher and I am removing as I type.

    i am keeping my fingers crossed for you that you find all of it i know it's a pain to do but so worth it when you find all of it and are rid of it once and for all

    I still have to reboot my game to see if the baby has the boots on.

    standing by to hear from you also what i would too if all as well in the game  when you launch that saved game save the game with a new save name  to have a fresh new save

    Ok I will do that. I have rebooted my game and the shoes are on the baby but I will make a new save for it to see if that works.

    It worked! There is no boots on my baby!! Thank you so much rumbutter!! I will definitly ask you if I am having problems with my game again!!! :D

    oh p.s.

    delete that old save + and  it's back up folder too from the electronicsarts/thesims3/saves
