No, I had not tried that, but it worked! Thank you!!! Now, I have another issue. I chose to split up the household when I moved her out, and then I merged her back into the original home with her parent. However, now the family tree is broken. There is no relation showing between her or her father. Do you know if relationships are editable?

family trees have been known to get broken...a mod might fix it for you but we're not allowed to talk about them here and they are neither suported or endorsed by ea they are an at your own risk

That's okay, thank you anyway. I do not trust those sort of things for good reason. She is a young adult and will be on her own soon anyway. Life goes on. I really appreciate your advice.

your very welcome 🙂 i just thought of something it's a bit fiddley but no harm in trying it for a future game if you want the entire family together save your game with a new name just to do the fiddley bits have your sim invite her over to the house use this cheat ctrl+shift+c (hit enter) testingcheatsenabled true then shift and click on your sim-option edit sim in create a sim then while in CAS on the three dots save sim to libiary this will save the sim in create a sim do the same with the parents then when your back in live mode turn the cheat off ctrl+shift+c (hit enter) testingcheatsenabled false then when you go to create a household choose your family of sims with your girl in the basics panel you can set her age group to toddler child teen plus with the parents set the relationships in the edit relationships before accepting the where to place them in town
