Refund wanted, but Refund tool is not working

Hello.

I tried to request refund for The Sims 3 games, but it didn’t work out. I tried several times, changed browser and waited few hours, but refund page is not working. Can you please handle my refunds based on this message? In your refund policy states that refund has to be done within 24 hours of first play and I have now informed this problem to you within those 24 hours. 

I want refund from these games:

The Sims™ 3 Starter Pack – 39,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Supernatural – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Seasons – 9.99 €

The Sims™ 3 University Life – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Island Paradise – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Into the Future – 9,99 €

Reason for request refund to all these is: I experienced performance issues.

 

For your information, these refunds I was able to request before the site didn’t work anymore:

The Sims™ 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Ambitions – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Generations – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Pets – 9,99 €

The Sims™ 3 Showtime – 9,99 €

  • Zwillinga91​  Sims 3 packs are considered DLC and are therefore not generally eligible for refunds.  Exceptions can be made, but you'd need to talk to someone from EA customer support.  So go that route:

    https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/

    and if you don't get the option for live chat right away, choose a slightly different category of issue.

    Hello, thank you. I tried several options but the site requests me to come to here EA forums and ask help. 

    Is there any other way to get in touch with EA about this problem that the refund tool is not working?

  • Zwillinga91​  EA support usually goes offline for a couple days around Christmas, although I didn't expect that to happen as soon as it apparently did this year.  I'd check again now, or in a day or two; things should be back to normal soon.

    Sorry for the late reply; I've also been offline for a couple days.

    Hello. So can I get refund because I informed about this within 24  hours and it is not my fault that EA support shutted down and didn't inform about that in their website. 

    I'm not able to use the refunfd tool anymore (that time did work and runned! eventhough EAsupport was closed). 

    And I did try to use refund tool several times eithin those 24 hours so I truly tried to do as it has been instructed!

  • Zwillinga91​  Again, the refund tool was never going to work for this content.  You need to talk to an EA support rep, in real time, to plead your case.

    In case it's not clear, I don't work for EA and have no ability to affect any of this.  I've just been around long enough know what has and has not worked for other players.
