Re: Help please

@Maralock12  If you ever registered your base game and expansions either in Origin or at the Sims 3 store, they'll still be linked to your account, and you can download them for free.  If you never registered the codes, you can find them on the backs of the inserts that came with your disc cases.  If you can't find those either, you can probably locate the codes in your old computer, as long as it hasn't been reformatted.  There are ways to do it on both PC and mac.

If the codes are gone for good, you're going to need to rebuy digital copies of whatever you can't register.  You could always try contacting EA customer support and asking for replacement codes, but without proof of purchase or original ownership, it would probably be very hard to obtain them.  But as it happens, Steam is having a sale right now, with the base game and its packs available for (I think) 60% off.  So if you are stuck rebuying some of your packs, you could at least save some money.  (You'd have to buy a copy of the base game as well, but it still might be cheaper overall, and you'd also get 1,000 SimPoints for registering it with EA.)  Steam provides codes for you to register with EA/Origin, so you could use the sale to fill out your Origin library and download everything from there.
