 you can get for that you can use the ingame video recording by hitting V and V again to stop recording usually the default time for recording is 60 seconds so you would need to go into the options to change the length of recording time to find the video after recording documents->ea->sims3 -> recorded videos

also make sure you have  sound capture ON in the options if you want to capture the sounds
