Re: My The Sims 3 won't update

Do you have any User-Made Mods or CC? That can interfere with patching/updating.

Have you tried Manually Updating? Often that works when folks have issues with the game's Launcher or Origin's Update apps.

Please tell me what should I do if I have updated the version of the game the Sims 3. And in the end of the upgrade, I have got to I installed the basic version. But that's not the problem. I have too many additions installed and when I try to install the base version I have reinstalled and all those additions that I had. What do I do to not have to reinstall?

    I'm not sure what you're saying/asking but, I'll try to help 😕mileyhappy:

Are you getting a message like this?

    DLC Compatibility Alert
It seems the base game for this DLC was not installed through Origin.

    1. Select Uninstall Now below, locate the base game, and follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall it.
    2. Download and install the base game through Origin by selecting it in My Games and clicking Download.

Despite what the notification message says, it is not necessary at all to uninstall the base game and reinstall it as a digital download through Origin. Instead, players can simply do the following...

If that is what is happening, there is more information and a fix here:
Solution for DLC Compatibility Alert in Origin

Do you have a Steam Digital Download version of the game? That might require you to use their update/patch.

You cannot run the addition. Install the base version of the game. Here is what writes when I try to open the game or launcher. And I don't know what a Pair Digital version. I installed the disk has not provided with Internet.
Sorry but I do not know English so I use a translator

"I installed the disk has not provided with Internet."

The PC that has TS3 installed on it has no internet access? Can you get it connected? You need to update the base TS3 game before it can correctly install and use Expansion Packs and/or Custom Content. If it has no internet access, then neither the Game Launcher nor Origin can update it.

If you can not get internet access on that PC, then try using a Manual Patch method. Using a different PC that does have internet access, download and save the latest patch for TS3 onto a disc or USB stick, then use that on the 'No-Internet' PC to manually update TS3.

For those who are unable to patch the base game to version 1.63.5 either via Origin or via the use of manual incremental patches, here is the official EA download link for the base game standalone cumulative Super Patcher.

Link to Direct Download: Cumulative Base Game 1.63.5 Super Patcher for The Sims 3
IMPORTANT: The Super Patcher is designed to work with the base game of any version number and any game region. After applying the cumulative patch your base game will be brought to version 1.63.5. To verify the base game version number, run the launcher and then hover the mouse pointer over the base game icon located in the bottom left corner of the launcher window. Note that the standalone cumulative patch is self executable, meaning you can simply download it to your Windows desktop or elsewhere and run the setup installer directly. Other than ensuring that the game and launcher are not running, no further setup is required.

Unfortunately, you can't get access to this message. It writes to me when I pass by reference. Tell me and I can write in Russian?

Yeah, I have mods, but I took them out before updating

It worked! Oh my God, I love you. From now on I'll always update my games like this

    Thanks
