I have borrowed the Sims 3 from a friend and i cant download the gme through origin because it says that the code has already been used?

Each copy of the game can olny be played on a single account.
As your friend has already registered their copy of the game on thier own account, you cannot add the same copy to your account. You would have to purchase your own copy of the game.
