Does your system meet the requirements below, specifically the video section?

PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
OS: XP SP2 / Vista SP1 / Windows 7
CPU: For XP 2.0GHz P4 processor or equivalent; For Windows Vista and Windows 7 2.4GHz P4 processor or equivalent
RAM: For XP 1GB RAM / Windows Vista and Windows 7 1.5GB RAM*
Hard Drive: At least 7.1GB of hard drive space with at least 1GB additional space for custom content and saved games
Video: 128MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
Supported Video Cards: Nvidia GeForce 6 series or better, and all NVidia G, GT, GTS, and GTX video cards. ATI Radeon™ series card 9500 series or better, and all ATI X, X1, and HD video cards; Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA): GMA 3-Series, GMA 4-Series
Please note that the GeForce 6100 and 7100 cards are not supported.
*For NVIDIA ION™ computers, the game requires at least 2GB RAM.

    I have a lenovo ideapad u530 touch. It seems to have all of the requirements. It does have windows 8 but that is the only thing that I see that would be different. The specs are as follows:

    Operating System: Windows 8.1, 64-bit

    CPU: INtiel 4th gen core i7

    CPU speed: 2.0GHz

    RAM: 8GB

    Hard Drive: 1TB

    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M

    I've checked the game website and it says that Windows 8 is compatible with the Sims3

    Hi Posted awhile ago about my game not working on my new computer saying there if a service initialization error. I have the all the system requirements on my lenovo U530 Touchscreen ultrabook. What else can I do to have the sims3 work on my computer?

    Keep getting unknown error occured my sims 3 game will not play on macbook air yosemite 10.10.1 whilE using origin i already tried unistalling like 5 times already i use the sims 3 uninstaller and checked toseeif there were any other sims files left and i deleted those and tried reinstalling it stillhas notgotten me anywhere help please!!!!!!!!!!
