Re: Sims 3 how to downgrade 1.69 to 1.67

If you have the download version, you can't

Only option is to install an older version from the disc and then use super patch to 1.67.

But with the download version, there's now way to go back unless you want to try restoring a system restore point.

  • Can it be like an expansion pack or it has to be the sims 3 base game, or can't you just submit a folder of you're sims 3 copy and we can download it and put it in our folder?

It would need to be the base game and no, that would not be allowed.

What do you dislike so much about 1.69 ? You had to use Origin before if you have the download version ?

  • I have the same issue I dislike it cuz everytime I try to install worlds of something it says a software update is required

It doesn't recognize my dlc's anymore since origin automatically updated to 1.69 - which is quite the common issue =.= but our friends of EA wont fix this patch cause it's an "old" game...

I am wanting to go back too and eliminate the need to use Origin. It causes my CPU's to through the roof! Have the same issue with store bought items. We all payed good money for our games. The should fix the issues.
