Re: Sims 3 Pets DLC installation problem

@Shinay33  Does the Pets expansion appear to download and install, but then not show up in the launcher; or do you see an error when downloading or installing it in the first place?  The latter is a current issue with Origin and the EA App:

As you can see, a number of players are affected, and the fix will need to come from EA.  However, if the pack does download, you have a different issue.

I have both problems actually. When it was installed, it didn't appear in the launcher. When I have uninstalled everything and tried to install it all back, there was an installation problem. I couldn't download the game, and I still can't even after following EA's steps.

@Shinay33 and @JDR123ray  The download issue is on EA's end and therefore needs to be addressed by EA; it looks like there's nothing players can do on their own.  Keep an eye on the thread I linked for updates.

For any pack(s) that do download correctly but won't appear in the launcher, the culprit is usually a bad product code, for example one bought from an unauthorized seller.  It could also be a mistake, for example it might happen after an account merge.  In any case, the only approach is to contact EA customer support and ask about the status of the pack, not only whether it's on your account but whether the product code is active and valid.

Please keep in mind that some codes can work for a time and be cancelled later, so the fact that Pets loaded before doesn't necessarily mean its code is still good now.
